Student Development Team
"If you plan for a year, plant a seed. If for ten years, plant a tree. If for a hundred years, teach the people. When you sow a seed once, you will reap a single harvest. When you teach the people, you will reap a hundred harvests." Kuan Chung
The Kelley School Student Development Team is comprised of a select group of undergraduate and graduate students who are interested in helping grow the school's philanthropy initiatives. The students who participate in this organization are extremely dedicated to the school and understand the importance of giving back. As an integral component of the development operation, the team has three primary objectives:
- Serve as advocates among their peers regarding the importance of giving back; helping build a Kelley student culture that understands the value and importance of philanthropy
- Provide stewardship to current Kelley donors by sharing a student's perspective on the school, helping keep donors up-to-date, and responding to donor inquiries
- Work in tandem with the development office to seek corporate and community support for Kelley student needs
If you would like additional information about the team and its activities, or are interested in being a member, please do not hesitate to contact the Office of Development.
