Sam Jones Diversity Scholarship

This funding is an annual, one-time only $2500/year award for incoming freshmen from a racial or ethnic minority, or a first-generation college student. This scholarship, for only one recipient, has a March 1 deadline for all relevant application material. Diversity Research Scholars Program (DSRP)

This scholarship provides full tuition for coursework, books, supplies and housing for up to four years of undergraduate study. The DSRP program is designed to acclimate students to a research setting, where they will work with Kelley Indianapolis faculty who will guide them in structuring their research program. Click

Key Bank Scholarships

This funding is for two scholarships: a one-time, non-renewable $1000 award for a Kelley Indianapolis applicant; the other is a $1500 award for an incoming Kelley Indianapolis direct admit applicant, with preference being given to minority students. Both awards are provided by Key Bank. (Applicants should ensure their “minority” status is mentioned in their essay!) A minimum cumulative average GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale will be strictly enforced. This scholarship has a February 1 application deadline.

Principal Financial Group Scholarship

This scholarship is for incoming students who have been directly admitted into the Kelley School of Business and enroll full-time. Qualified applicants must have a minimum cumulative average GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Preference will be given to members of underrepresented populations whose presence will enhance the learning environment through increased diversity at Kelley and IUPUI. This scholarship has a February 1 deadline!

Bepko Scholars and Fellows Program

Undergraduate tuition, fees and books for four years of study, including housing will be provided with this scholarship. Up to 20 freshmen per year may be selected for this very competitive award. Emma L. Bowen Foundation Award

Includes both an academic stipend and a summer internship for all 4 or 5 years of college for those minority freshmen or sophomores interested in business and the media. Gates Millennium Scholars Scholarship

This is a competitive scholarship, established to support talented students who wish to pursue
both undergraduate and post graduate degrees in disciplines in which racial and ethnic groups are underrepresented. Requirements for the award include filing a FAFSA, having a Federal Pell Grant as part of a financial aid award package, and letters of recommendation. Applicants are evaluated based on the areas of leadership, academic performance and community service. Click

National Association of Black Accountants (NABA)

This scholarship, open to any ethnic minority, ranges from $500 to $6000, and is available for any qualifying full-time (12 hours or more) student
in any undergraduate or graduate status. Applicants must also be a paid NABA member with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. For more details and an application form, see

UNCF Scholarship Information

The United Negro College Fund offers a variety of merit and need based scholarships and grants to talented and deserving minority students pursuing collegiate degrees in various disciplines. Some,
but not all, of the scholarships require students to attend a UNCF member-based institution and may require students to serve as interns or ambassadors. Deadlines for the scholarships vary, and many require filling out a FAFSA to be considered. Scholarships range in their amount and are intended to cover direct educational expenses. Some scholarships are renewable, based upon satisfactory completion of course work, and may be re-applied for as long as the student meets eligibility requirements. Click

Sociedad Amigos De Colombia (SADCO)

The Friends of Colombia Society is an Indiana-based organization designed to help Hispanic students attend college. This group offers both achievement- and need-based scholarships to 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation Hispanic students who are Indiana residents.
