gSCIE Projects
Projects are selected by the student teams, with project definition and scope determined in consultation with the gSCIE faculty.
Path 1
In the Fall, the student team conducts either an industry, technology or topic review. Findings will be shared with all gSCIE students and faculty. In the spring the student team works on a company–specific application project. A presentation, including a management plan, is due at the end of the semester.
Path 2
In the Fall, the student team analyzes a specific supply chain and presents an overall framework for beneficial changes, or a solution to a particular problem in that supply chain. In the Spring, the student teams extend their work from the earlier semester by considering either a specific real world problem or deeper aspects of the problem(s) previously identified.
