Members & Biographies

The members of the Director's Advisory Board are nominated by faculty to serve on this board. Faculty members are invited to nominate students based on the following:

  • Demonstrated leadership, character, and high ethical standards
  • Committed to continuous improvement of the academic environment of the Kelley School of Business
  • Student in good academic standing and admitted to the Kelley School of Business
  • Committed to participate in board initiatives and projects

Students who agree to become members of the board must abide by rules concerning confidentiality, participation, and respect for the views of others. Students who wish to continue to serve on the board after graduation may do so as active alumni members.

Member Biographies

    Amber Cash

    I am currently an intern at Spring Mill Venture Partners. In January I will start as a full-time tax staff accountant at BKD, LLP. I am part of the Honors Academy and will participate in this year's INCPA case competition. In the summer of 2005 I traveled to London, England to study abroad.

    I am a Marketing & International Studies major with a minor in Economics. I am currently a Junior and plan to graduate in May 2008. After I graduate, I plan on working in the Advertising and Public Relation industry. In my spare time, I enjoy going out and traveling.

    I am a part-time non-traditional senior accounting major with an expected graduation date of spring 2009. I am employed at a manufacturing company in Anderson, IN. When time allows, I like to participate in community service activities through my local labor union, UAW Local 663.

    I graduated in the spring of 2005 and have continued my service to the board as an alumnus focusing specifically on ethics. I graduated with majors in Management and Human Resource Management and I will continue my education by pursuing a law degree from the school of law at Indiana University.

I serve as the Senior Advisor for the freshman honor society Phi Eta Sigma, and I volunteer at IPS Margaret McFarland Middle School. Currently I am an intern with the United States Customs and Border Protection.

    My name is Kim Kirchman, and I live in Columbus, IN. I am actively involved in the Kelley School of Business Student Development Team in addition to the DAB. My passions include developing websites (I have three getting ready to come out in 2006), South Park, and being with my family. I plan on getting a Master`s Degree in diversity management in the future.

    I am a marketing major and am focusing my energy this school year on an internship with Northwestern Mutual. I enjoy playing ping-pong, wakeboarding, and laughing. I am looking forward to traveling to Europe this summer to visit my twin brother in Germany.

    I am the Executive Director of Academic Programs for the Kelley School of Business in Indianapolis and a Senior Lecturer in Accounting. While most of my workday is spent in administrative matters, my abiding interest in higher education is teaching students. Before joining the university, I was a Buyer for Dayton Hudson Corporation in Detroit and the Manager of Marketing Research for Holiday Rambler Corporation, a division of Harley Davidson (I just love saying that). I have been married for 30 years to the boy next door (no kidding) and have two grown children (Jason the Purdue graduate and Carrie the IU graduate) and two golden retrievers, Lucy and Sophie.

    I am a KSBI senior majoring in Human Resources and Business Management. I expect to graduate December 2006. I am currently involved with the Director`s Advisory Board, Student Development Team, and United Students. In addition to my school involvement, I also work full-time and have two children (2 and 4 years old) that I absolutely adore.

    I am a business student but I am an artist in disguise! My creativity fits well with marketing, and right now I am using my education and my skills towards economic development for our state, at the Indy Partnership. It is awesome!

    Anahita Sadri - Salour

    I am originally from Iran and became a US citizen in December 2003. I started at IUPUI in the fall of 2000 and graduated with accounting and finance degree in December 2004. I work for Ernst & Young in Tax Operation Services. I participate in the Corporate Participation Task Force. In my personal life, I speak 3 languages, have 3 Bachelor's degrees, have 4 pets, and I love to play squash and watch good movies.

    Shannon Satterfield

    I am a Kelley Indianapolis alumnus who graduated in May 2004 with a double major in Business Management and Human Resources Management, and a minor in Public and Enviromental Affairs. In 2004, I took a position as the Director of Alternative Programs with Marion Superior Juvenile Court to oversee the development and implementation of programming for "at risk" youth. I gained valuable experience in fundraising, program development, employee management and educating today's youth. I returned to the private sector in the middle of 2005 when given the opportunity to bring new life into a landscape architecture firm and counsel on future growth for the business. I am one of the original members of the Director's Advisory Board and am honored to continue to represent the Kelley tradition.

    Currently, I am a Research Analyst Intern with Simon Property Group with aspirations to have a career in commercial real estate on an international level. In addition to acquiring a major in International Finance and a minor in Economics, I am a member of the KSB Honors Program and Honors Academy as well as a pledge for Delta Sigma Pi Business Fraternity. In my spare time, I am an avid golfer. I am the lead singer for the Alligator Brothers and cherish spending time with my family and my close friends.

    Robbie Scheele

    I expect to graduate in December of 2007 with a major in marketing. I was born and raised on the north-east side of Indianapolis. I knew growing up I wanted to pursue a business degree and choose Kelley because it is one of the best programs in the country. After graduating, I hope to obtain a job as a Financial Advisor. I have had excellent work experience with Merrill Lynch and InBev (the world's largest beer brewer) and hope to utilize those experiences for the Directors Advisory Board. I am an athlete for the IUPUI golf team, President of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee, Student-Athlete representative for the Athletics Advisory Board, and volunteer for local charities. I have two sisters and one brother (who are all much older than me), seven nieces and nephews, and over 35 first cousins. I enjoy traveling and plan on going all over Europe next summer.     I am just finishing up my last semester at Kelley in finance. Currently, I am studying personal financial planning. After graduation I plan on going on to law school with a focus corporate law. I am interested in acquisitions and mergers and hope to work in that field in the next year.

    I finished my BS in May 2006 and I am currently pursuing a law degree. I am not really sure what area of law I would like to focus on, but I am inclined to lean towards tax law. I had a great undergraduate experience at Indiana University Kelley School of Business- Indianapolis. I had a few great internships, made some great friends, and learned from great professors. By participating on the Director`s Advisory Board, I hope to further improve the Kelley School of Business at Indianapolis. Besides school, I enjoy gardening, IRL auto racing, and watching Law and Order.
